VMware has been focused on virtualizing infrastructure for a long time. VMware expanded there reach into enabling cloud computing and now they’re interested in the end user application delivery space with Project Horizon and VMware Appblast. VMware is also aiming to manage end user data as well with Project Octopus. Appblast and Project Horizon were the most impressive of the three. Project Horizon also has IT administration in mind allowing the administrator to control and manage what the end user has access too.
