At CloudOpen and LinuxCon

I ready for CloudOpen and LinuxCon this year in New Orleans. It’s a bit funny I was just in New Orleans not long ago for TechEd 2013. There’s a lot ahead but here are some of the things I’m looking forward to.

#1 theCloudcast will be LIVE at the event. They are my top cloud computing podcast and these guys Aaron Delp (@aarondelp) and Brian Gracely (@bgracely) rock.

#2 Thomas Hatch has a session “The New Cloud Factory: Building Web Scale Using Open Source on the Internet Assembly Line“. I’m a fan of Saltstack and I’ve only seen him on his youtube channel but he seem cool.

#3 Redhat and OpenStack: Basically any and all the Redhat OpenStack information interests me. The buzz of OpenStack is hot and RDO with packstack is making easy to deploy on Redhat and CentOS. And Redhat even has training available for there release product of RHEL OpenStack Platform.

#4 CloudStack Sessions: I been loving CloudStack for awhile now so I’m looking forward to what others have to say about it at the event.

#5 Gluster Community Day 2013: All day of GlusterFS in Strand 10B, need I say more?

This should be a great event and I hope to get learned on as much as possible. I’m more focused on the CloudOpen stuff but its all related which is probably why both are going on at the same time this year.

I’ll be heading over to the Meet & Greet - Sunday September 15, 2020 5:00pm - 6:00pm Hyatt Regency, 8 Block Bar & Lounge for some socializing and beer later tonight. Hope to see everyone there.
